Patrick Gushue, PMP Trainer / Mentor

Patrick Gushue began his career in the United States Army, serving in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment with assignments in the 1st Ranger Battalion and Regimental Headquarters. During his eight years of service, he led teams in high-pressure operational environments, overseeing human resources, strategic planning, and organizational management initiatives. He was honorably discharged in 2019 as a Staff Sergeant.
Following his military service, Patrick was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow and currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). In this role, he supports senior leadership on enterprise strategy, operational improvement, governance modernization, and policy initiatives.
Patrick is pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Columbia Business School. He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Gwynedd Mercy University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
He holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), and Agile Certified Professional, and brings over a decade of experience across national security, federal operations, and organizational transformation.
