Steve Vanko, PMP Trainer / Mentor
- Steve Vanko is an accomplished leader with a distinguished 27-year career in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Career Recruiter and retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. Throughout his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional strategic leadership and a commitment to operational excellence, most notably through the comprehensive overhaul of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command’s training curriculum. His efforts led to the nationwide standardization of onboarding and sustainment training, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
- With over a decade of experience managing complex projects and leading multi-functional teams, Steve has cultivated deep expertise in strategic planning, process optimization, and leadership development. His ability to drive initiatives forward has established him as a highly skilled project and program manager adept at managing large-scale operations with precision.
- Steve is a 2022 graduate of Get it Done Consulting’s PMP Certification Exam Prep course and a 2023 graduate of its Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program. His professional credentials include a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
